Marketing & Promotions Assistant
We are on the lookout for an energetic and passionate Marketing & Promotions Assistant to champion our brand from the inside out! This is a unique opportunity to become a key brand ambassador within our team — bringing together our vision, core values, and marketing objectives. Your role will involve leading our Community Promotions Strategy and assisting with supporting our Marketing Strategy.
Working alongside our Marketing Manager, your efforts will directly contribute to increasing community engagement, patient brand awareness, new patient flow, and referrals. We are looking for someone who’s not only passionate about Marketing and Dental Health, but is also a team player, an excellent communicator, and eager to engage with our community in meaningful ways.
Role Details
- Develop and drive a ‘Community Engagement’ strategy: Actively seek out partnerships and promotional opportunities with local schools, childcare centres, and community groups
- Manage internal and external community promotions from concept to completion, e.g. our ‘Kids Days’ and ‘Kindy Talks Program’
- Assist with executing the Marketing Strategy alongside our Marketing Manager, including both digital and internal Marketing activities
- Develop engaging content for social media, and actively interact with patients to generate leads and referrals
- Create strategic marketing content such as blogs, graphics, copywriting, email campaigns and other marketing material
- Assist with producing internal and patient-facing marketing material and related administration duties
- Be passionate about celebrating special events and communication moments — bringing joy and connection to both kids and adults in our community

Required Skills
- Oral Health Background: a background or keen interest in all things Oral & Dental Health is essential. Whether you have experience as a Dental Assistant, in the health industry, or have an eager passion to promote Oral Health, this is a key part of the role.
- Technical marketing & content creation skills such as: content editing tools, Social Media, Adobe (Photoshop, InDesign & Illustrator), MailChimp, Canva, video editing programs and IT skills.
Professional skills such as: strong organisational and planning capacity, excellent written and verbal communication, the ability to work on multiple projects at once, the competence to work under pressure and to deadlines, attention to detail, self-motivated and confident, an eagerness to learn and grow, be a good team player, the ability to follow instructions and take initiative.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience or Interest in Oral/Dental Health
- Marketing qualification, or equivalent experience
- Ability to display a portfolio of previous work
- Blue Card, or willing to obtain

Hours & Information
This is a Permanent Part-Time role, 2 days per week from 8:30am-5pm. Hours will primarily be in our modern Dental Practice in Toowong, with some flexibility for WFH. Working days are to be arranged with the Marketing Manager.
