The General Dentist role is a standout opportunity both a young up-and-coming or experienced Dentist in a well-organised, structured practice with focus on providing consistency and excellent patient care.
The position allows the Dentist to work with patients from first consultation/checkup through treatment planning, treatment and then ongoing maintenance and checkups. The practice has been established for 75 years and has treated over 10000 patients, with high levels of quality new patients. The Dentists will work closely with Dental Hygienists/OHTs who can provide support and care including cleaning/whitening so as to free up the Dentist time for restorative treatment. With an onsite full-service Dental Laboratory with four Dental Technicians, the role works closely with onsite techs who provide both fixed and removable appliances onsite, with a high volume of Aesthetic Dental cases, creating smile masterpieces on a daily basis.

The Brisbane Smiles facility is spaced over 600sqm with twelve treatment rooms, large full-service onsite dental Laboratory with four fulltime Qualified Dental Technicians.
Dentists are supported by actual Treatment Coordinators who are trained and available to sequence and provide complex treatment support services for the patients.
Role Details
This role allows the Dentist to provide General Dental Care to patients which will include Aesthetic Dental procedures such as Smile Design, Resin Bonding, Ceramic Veneers and Crowns along with Implant Restorations. You will lead the patients care with support from the Hygiene department for hygiene, cleans, OHI and whitening. You will connect with our existing patients through peridoic exams and complete any necessary dental care as your scope of practice allows.
- Clinical hours available 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am-4:30pm Fridays
- Days available to suit the Dentist
- Clinical autonomy maintained whilst working within a team of OHT/Hygienist/Prosthetist/Dental Technicians
- Mentorship available to expand skillset
- Onsite Dental Technicians to assist with Treatment Planning, Prosthodontic Treatments and Shade Matching
- Applicant must be open to consistency across the practice in philosophy, materials and working within a team
- Learn digital workflows for smile simulation and design and patient presentation
- Inner-city location in Toowong

The majority of our Brisbane Smiles Team work a 38-hour, 4 day week with rewarding remuneration packages. The practice hours are weekdays excluding public holidays with no late nights. We have an in-house Dental Laboratory, with personal Dental Technicians who work with each Dentist.
