Dental Hygienist/Oral Health Therapist (OHT) Position
We’re searching for an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist/OHT to join our tight-knit, growing team. Could you be our next Dental Hygienist/OHT?
The role is a key position within our practice. You’ll be helping to provide exceptional customer experiences and helping keep our beautiful smiles healthy on a daily basis. Within the scope of the role are Cleans, Perio Debridement, Teeth Whitening, Diet Counselling, Decay Management Plans, Impressions and Scans, Taking Radiographs Intraoral and Extraoral. As an Ahpra registered provider you will be responsible for providing dental care to patients. Brisbane Smiles has a large team, advanced technology and dental laboratory services onsite. We’re conveniently located in Toowong, 4km from the CBD.
Role Details
This role includes, within your scope — patient treatment, exceptional customer service, adhering to practice policies, maintaining equipment and stock, working as part of a team and upholding practice core values.
- Clinical hours available 8:00am-5:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:00am-4:30pm Fridays
- Working within a team of General Dentists/OHT/Hygienist/Prosthetist/Dental Technicians
- Mentorship available to expand your skillset
- Applicant must be open to learning and working within a team
- Learn digital workflows
- Inner-city location in Toowong
Technology Available: As a Dental Hygienist/OHT at Brisbane Smiles, you will have access to leading technology and processes.

Requirements: University Qualification in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy and current AHPRA registration as a Dental Hygienist or Oral Health Therapist (OHT)

We have serviced our patient base for 75 years and have an outstanding reputation for advanced aesthetic procedures. This generates a high flow of existing and new patients for extensive general and cosmetic dental procedures. Based upon high-quality routine dental care through 6-monthly recall appointments.
Advanced technology and laboratory technical services.
We use both digital and traditional workflows to ensure the best patient and staff experiences. Additionally, our in-house dental laboratory provides you with access to a higher level of dental technical services.
Great staff benefits and a work-life balance.
The majority of our Brisbane Smiles Team work a 38-hour, 4 day week with rewarding remuneration packages. The practice hours are weekdays excluding public holidays with no late nights. We have an in-house Dental Laboratory, with personal Dental Technicians who work with each Dentist.
