Dental Payment Options at Brisbane Smiles

We understand the importance of accessing quality Dental Health Care. Our friendly Treatment Coordinators will work with you to ensure you can afford and access the care that you require. We accept all Health Funds and can assist in coordinating Payment Plans.

Payments at Brisbane Smiles

We accept payments at the time of treatment. We accept a wide selection of payment options and our Treatment Coordinators ensure you are given all options to suit your needs.

How to Pay:

  • In-Person: We accept payment onsite with Cash, Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  • Direct Debit and PAY-ID: We offer direct debit payment by PAY-ID or bank transfer, you can request our details via a phone call. You can reach us at (07) 3870 3333 during business hours. We recommend processing bank transfers at least 2 days in advance to avoid treatment delays.

Health Funds

We accept payments from all major Australian health funds using the convenient HICAPS machine at the time of your appointment. You simply pay the gap that your health fund will not cover.

Humm

  • Buy now, pay later service
  • For treatments up to $50,000
  • Interest: via quote
  • Monthly plan management fee & establishment fee
  • Repayment schedule: fortnightly or monthly
  • Receive the treatment you need immediately
  • You will be required to speak to Humm direct for a quote based on your personal circumstances and for the full terms and conditions. A full credit and financial assessment will need to be completed prior to acceptance of any offer or product.

TLC Payment Plans

  • Payment plans for all Dental treatments and out of pocket costs.
  • For treatments costing $2,001 to $50,000
  • Easy weekly payments
  • Simple, no stress process
  • Make additional payments at any time
  • Receive the treatment you need immediately
  • You will be required to speak to TLC direct for a quote based on your personal circumstances and for the full terms and conditions. A full credit and financial assessment will need to be completed prior to acceptance of any offer or product.

How Our Treatment Coordinators Will Assist You

At Brisbane Smiles, we believe that receiving the dental care you need should feel clear, supported, and stress-free. That’s why every patient is partnered with a dedicated Treatment Coordinator: a trained member of our team who becomes your personal guide throughout your treatment journey.

Your Treatment Coordinator will take the time to walk you through your proposed treatment plan, answer all of your questions, and ensure you feel fully informed and confident in your decisions. They will also discuss payment and finance options with you in detail, tailoring solutions to suit your treatment needs, budget, and preferred payment approach.

From your first consultation through to treatment completion, your Treatment Coordinator is there to handle the logistics, clarify costs, assist with payment plans, and help you to feel confident in accessing the care you need.

Our goal is simple: to empower you to take charge of your oral health and proceed with treatment feeling supported, in control, and free from the stress of managing it alone.

Superannuation Release on Compassionate Grounds

Our team is able to assist patients who meet the criteria to release superannuation on compassionate grounds. Following your Consultation Appointment and once a Treatment Report and Plan is accepted, your Dentist will provide a Superannuation Release Form.

You will need to acquire a second report from a suitably qualified medical practitioner and then submit forms to your superannuation fund through the Australian Taxation Office. You should seek advice from your accountant and financial advisor before considering release of superannuation.

Multiple Appointment Treatments and Health Funds

To comply with our practice policy and Health Fund and Hicaps Agreements, out-of-pocket payments are required at the time of preparation for Crowns, and at the time of Final Impressions for Dentures and Splints.

Hicaps claims for patients in Health Funds will be made at the final insertion appointment.*

*Where quoted for Health Fund Payment has been obtained and recorded before treatment, then only the out-of-pocket amount needs to be paid at the time of preparation/final impressions.

*Where there is no Health Fund, or where no quote is available from the Health Fund, then full payment is required at the time of Preparation/Final Impression. In this instance, a receipt/paid invoice for Health Fund reimbursement will be given at the time of Insertion for the patient to claim back directly from their health fund. Please note we do not process Hicaps and then provide refunds for the claim amount, but rather you claim this directly from your health fund.

Payments Terms & Conditions at Brisbane Smiles

Brisbane Smiles provides informed treatment plans, ensuring our patients will determine the correct treatment. The cost of any treatment or procedure will be discussed during your initial examination or consultation appointment, before being provided in a written document before treatment is commenced. It is our practice policy to engage patients in the planning of their treatments, and all patients are given a written financial schedule before we proceed with treatment.

To assist with paying for dental treatment, Brisbane Smiles accepts payment for treatment performed at the time of treatment rather than a total payment before treatment is scheduled. When Dental Treatment involves a Laboratory component, such as Porcelain Crowns or Veneers, full payment is required at the time of tooth preparation except for the health fund payment in instances the amount has been quoted and verified and must be claimed immediately prior to the insertion appointment on that day.

Patients are responsible for full payment including any circumstances that a Health Fund denies a claim. You will be given an invoice and can claim your rebate directly from your Health Fund.
