Replacing Dentures With Dental Implants

New technologies, techniques and materials now at Smile Artistry are allowing for you to have your full dentures replaced with dental implants and fixed-in bridges in a short few days.  To help prospective clients understand this treatment we have created a website all about it, Teeth on Implants at www.teethonimplants.com.au

First, you have a Consultation and your situation is assessed and recommendations made. A full work-up is performed using a 3D conebeam x-ray system and a full waxup of the potential new teeth is performed.

At the first of the major appointments, any teeth needing removal are removed and the dental implants are placed immediately.  Impressions are made and some temporary teeth are inserted.  Over the following days, semi-permanent (fixed-in) teeth are milled using cad-cam computer technology.  These teeth are inserted in the following week and you will be able to function normally again over the next few months, but it is important to take it a litttle easy and avoid biting into firm things like nuts and ice.

After months of healing, the bone around the dental implants will be healed and your final Porcelain Teeth are constructed to rebuild ideal strength and beauty to your mouth and smile.  The semi-permanent teeth are swapped for your new permanent teeth.

If you know someone with complete Dentures, then you should let them know there are now other options.

Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
