INNOVATIVE DENTISTRY
Advantages Of TeethXpress® Treatment
TeethXpress® delivers immediate results for all teeth replacement treatment. TeethXpress® is one of the few full-jaw or full-mouth Dental Implant procedure which actually delivers a complete set of natural-looking new teeth in a single appointment.
Patients may instantly have their smile and dental function restored as the immediate teeth are placed onto the Dental implants on the day of surgery.
TeethXpress® treatment is performed under twilight IV Sedation, so patients are often relaxed and comfortable during treatment. During the recovery period, patients have new “trial teeth” that are placed at the implant appointment. Over the next 3-4 months, patients can trial their smile before any improvements are designed and the final Zirconia Bridges made using cutting edge Digital Scanning, CAD and advanced 3D printing and milling processes.

About The TeethXpress® Procedure
Consults and Planning are first required to ensure the TeethXpress® treatment is your best and chosen option and we will discuss any alternative options you have available.
Treatment planning is performed by designing a Smile Simulation and linking key implant positions in a Virtual 3D Computer Surgery using cutting-edge computer technology. New teeth shapes are created online with Digital Smile Design for patient feedback. 3D surgery templates and teeth are created and printed using 3D printers.
The Dental Implant procedure is performed with IV Sedation. The advanced 3D printed Guides will control surgery, the removal of teeth and the key implant postioning along with guiding the New Smile into position all while patients are sedated.
Following Healing, the final bridge is made. The process is entirely digital and computerised using advanced Scanning technology. The new shapes of the gums and mouth are captured with the scanner and a New Smile Design created. A 3D printed trial will be shown in the mouth for the final patient consent, to then proceed before the final Zirconia Bridge is ready.
Risks and Limitations of Treatment
Every patient is different, so it’s important to evaluate individual needs. A consultation with one of our experienced Dentists is essential to determine the right treatment and overall suitability. Our Dentists are well trained to offer all of the alternartive treatments which may actually be less invasive than TeethXpress in some circumstances.
Technology to properly assess suitability is taking a 3d Jaw Scan with a Cone-beam CT Machine (CBCT). This creates a virtual jaw scan and is used in advanced software to perform virtual surgery on a computer, safely checking anatomy and shapes for your new smile ahead of time.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Before proceeding, you should seek a second opinion from an appropriately qualified health practitioner.
Standard implant risks involve surgical risks, damage to the jaw and its nerves and blood vessels, and long-term implant health risks. Read more about Dental Implant Procedures and Risks

What Are TeethXpress® Dental Implants?
TeethXpress is a trademark of Biohorizons and is a system for the immediate placement of Dental Implants to a jaw with immediate teeth placed onto the dental implants to avoid a period of having no teeth. After a healing period is completed, the immediate bridge is replaced with the final bridge.
Do Dental Implants Work For Everyone?
Dental Implants are universal pieces of hardware that are made in many different widths and lengths so as to work in almost all jaws and mouths. In general, healthy individuals are suitable for dental implant procedures and studies show that after 20 years, generally 4 out of 5 implants remain in function. Kupka JR et al. How far can we go, A 20-year meta-analysis of dental implant survival rates. Clin Oral Investig. 2024 Sep 21;28(10):541
How Long Does TeethXpress® Treatment Take?
After your Consultation, you will be provided with your personalised treatment plan and treatment will be ready to commence. The First appointment is your surgery, placement of the dental implants and your immediate new teeth. This appointment is provided with IV Sedation for your comfort. You can now see, eat and talk with your new immediate teeth. After a minimum of 3 months, you will have new final teeth made and inserted and your active treatment is complete. Maintenance and Cleans are recommended on a minimum of an annual basis in health for most patients.
Is TeethXpress® Safe?
The TeethXpress® treatment is provided for hundreds of patients worldwide every day. There is a surgical component that carries surgical and long-term risks for patients and you will have individual discussions with your dental surgeon before the treatment to discuss your individual, specific risks.
Is TeethXpress® Painful?
TeethXpress will involve the removal of remaining teeth and the replacement with dental implants. The surgical appointment is usually comfortable for patients as they will have IV Sedation to reduce anxiety and provide relief from pain. Following that, patients will provided with medications for pain relief, inflammation control and antibiotics as necessary and all of these will reduce pain during the first week recovery period. Discomfort may last for days to weeks.
How Will My New Teeth Look?
Your new teeth will be made to suit you, your facial features and your desires. One benefit of the TeethXpress protocol is that the immediate teeth will allow you to assess the aesthetics and function of the new teeth and provide feedback before upgrading into the final teeth after the first 3 months. So changes, improvements and shade adjustments can be made before making the final bridge.
