As a Treatment Coordinator, you’re responsible for ensuring every patient has an exceptional experience with us. To support you, Brisbane Smiles has a large team, advanced technology and dental laboratory services onsite. We’re conveniently located in Toowong, 4km from the CBD.
Role Details
The Treatment Coordinator’s role is to assist in the smooth and efficient running of the practice and adhere to Brisbane Smiles Philosophy’s and protocols at all times. This position that reports directly to the Office Leader. The Treatment Coordinator’s role requires reliability and flexibility to meet the needs of our patients and the practice.
A Treatment Coordinator performs a variety of daily tasks. You will be responsible for coordinating the treatment of a patient, liaising directly with patients about all aspects of their oral health, treatment consent, financial consent, treatment sequencing, treatment management and follow-up tasks.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Liasing with patients regarding their recommended treatments
- Obtain and ensure appropriate understanding and consent is given for treatment
- Make and ensure financial arrangements are in place prior to appointment scheduling
- Management of non-clinical aspects of treatments
- Follow up on patient treatment
- Communication with other team members
- Reporting to the Practice Manager and Dentists
- Meet and greet patients, suppliers and practice staff

This generates a high flow of existing and new patients for extensive general and cosmetic dental procedures. Based upon high-quality routine dental care through 6-monthly recall appointments.

The majority of our Brisbane Smiles Team work a 38-hour, 4 day week with rewarding remuneration packages. The practice hours are weekdays excluding public holidays with no late nights. We have an in-house Dental Laboratory, with personal Dental Technicians who work with each Dentist.
