2023 marked our 75th year of serving Brisbaneโs smiles with utmost care and dedication.
One of our focuses has consistently been to enhance the overall experience for our team, while also bringing additional services directly to our patients.
This year with the introduction of Dr Joel Winter, Dr Karuna Khatri and Dr Andrei Mihailescu working alongside Dr Paul McKay, Dr Graham McKay, and Dr Tara Javadi, our team has a cumulative dental experience of well over 150 years.
Our Hygiene and Oral Health Therapy team bring a cumulative 35 years of experience to our hygiene team. You can rest assured that your oral health is in the most capable hands.
These innovations, along with our rich history, embody our dedication to providing high-quality dental care in an environment that prioritises patient satisfaction. At Brisbane Smiles, your smile and comfort remain our top priorities, and we are excited to embark on this new chapter with you.

In 2023, we continued our mission to support and nurture the wellbeing of those around us.
Through our “Kindy Talks” program, we engaged with local kindergartens, sharing our enthusiasm and creativity to educate the youngest members of our community about healthy oral care habits.
Additionally, we continued our support for our local football club UQFC, demonstrating our commitment to various aspects of our community’s health and happiness. Our Smith Family child is finishing year 3 this year and we have continued to support other local charities close to our hearts.

In 2023, we introduced our Kids Day at Brisbane Smiles, and they were a resounding success, with our April and June event quickly reaching full capacity and our January date, is filling fast.ย
If you haven’t yet brought your little ones to one of our Kids Days, specifically designed for under 10s (older siblings welcome too), be sure to join us on January 11th, 2024, or April 4th, 2024! You must call our team to book in, rather than online.

We introduced 4 new state-of-the-art surgeries designed with space and comfort, a new sterilisation room and a personal call centre facility, so that our team are focused on your phone call and concerns.
Most recently, we have redesigned our waiting room with refreshments available, more seating space and a more personalised concierge service. This expansion has brought our team to include 30 exceptional team members.
